About our Members

Some have just recently joined us, some are founder members. A few were experienced singers when they joined, whilst others just loved singing

Our ages range from 20 to 80plus.

We have had members from all walks of life: education, IT, health, retail and the performing arts - the list is endless and we have several different nationalities (German, British, Swedish, Swiss, Belgian and Dutch)

Our members live in a variety of areas along the Costa Blanca and inland to La Murada and we have many visitors each year from people on holiday in this area.

There is a great camaraderie amongst our members and the opportunities for socialising and mixing are unlimited. We are here to enjoy our hobby, though we are not afraid of a bit of hard work to achieve this!

About You

You enjoy singing and like some fun!

How it works!

First of all, you would be put under no pressure at all. You will be made very welcome by everyone, and whether you actually want to join in and sing on your first visit is entirely up to you. If you like what you hear, you will probably find that after a while you can't wait to have a go, but it would be your choice.

You would soon be slotted into the part that is best suited to your voice, be it as a tenor, lead, bass or baritone. This is to ensure you are comfortable with the range of notes you have to sing. You would then learn a simple song and after that there would be no stopping you.

Chorus members are generally given 'teach tapes/cd's' to aid learning new songs. A teach tape/cd is a recording of a song with the predominant sound on the tape/cd being that of your voice part, and makes learning a new song very easy.

To repeat, no pressure will be put on you, and you can be assured of a very warm welcome.
