The Velvetones

The Velvetones Chorus is an organisation for women, based in the Costa Blanca Spain,

        We are a group of dynamic, energetic women who love to sing and perform a variety of music in the four-part harmony barbershop style. This 50+ member chorus is comprised of women of all ages and from all walks of life and several different Nationalities (British, German, Swedish, Swiss, Belgian and Dutch and now even New Zealand)

 With a varied and interesting repertoire, we perform regularly at a wide variety of venues, support charity fundraising initiatives, and have entertained an assortment of audiences throughout the region.

 In the competition arena, 2005 was an exciting year for The Velvetones in which we competed in the International Ladies Barbershop Convention in Cardiff, coming 5th in this event.

On the 2nd April, 2006 we appeared at the Benidorm Palace in Benidorm, performing on the same bill as "The White Rosettes" - the LABBS Gold Medal Chorus for 2005

 With experience of singing at Theatres,  Conventions, Celebrations, Community Events for various organisations etc, we would love to come and sing for you at your forthcoming function!
